Wayne Shemwell Ministries

Minister Wayne D. Shemwell, Sr. is a former member of the United States Marine Corp holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a masters in divinity. Minister Shemwell has also been active for a number of years in the local community. He has been married to Dr. JoAn Shemwell for 31 years; they have two children Wayne, Jr. (29) and Whitney (27). Shemwell served as Pastor of First Baptist Church of LaGrange KY for three years. Before starting Wayne Shemwell Ministries in 2006. 

Wayne Shemwell Ministries was formed in 2006 by minister Shemwell and some members of the Louisville community.  New Harvest Ministries was prominent in the community for feeding and clothing the less fortunate in the west  end of Louisville, KY.  For nearly 10 years Wayne Shemwell Ministries served the community and has ministered to the spiritual needs as well as the physical needs of the residents

After meditation and prayer in the spring of 2015 minister Shemwell was led to move the ministry in a unique direction.   In July 2015 Wayne Shemwell Ministries held its first service in the childhood home of minister Shemwell. 

However, minister Shemwell's  vision for the church is one of worldwide outreach and a church without walls.  We have now launched  the new paradigm in churches the internet church. We will hold weekly services , daily meditations and have formed relationships with ministries across the globe.
